Most of us want to feel fit and healthy. Many of us consider gym membership but it can be costly.
runs
free fitness and yoga sessions during the week days. is the brainchild of Jane Flemming, former Olympic athlete, and her business partner, Amanda King. Their desire is for people to become fitter and healthier, so with the assistance from local councils and businesses, the financial barrier has been removed so more people can participate.
The classes are held outdoors at a variety of venues across the Melbourne area. There are a range of classes including Cross Training, Active Boxing and Yoga which are run by local professional trainers and equipment is provided. There is
no joining fee and
no class fee.
sessions are run Monday to Friday, at various times. The locations include:
Clyde North
Docklands
Parkville
Point Cook
South Yarra
Wallan
Wantirna South
Westmeadows
Check website for further details about the venue closest to you. Some classes have a break during school holidays, others run during school vacation. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly and adapt some of the routines for individuals in the group.

Classes are for people 18 years or older but if you have a baby or young child, request that another adult supervises them. Another alternative is to form groups with other mums and get a babysitter.
