If you have young'uns 6 years and over, this could be the fledgeling event that'll set them on the path to good food choices, health and vitality. A fun kid's workshop, join in on Saturday 2 March 2019 from 10am to 11.30am - Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha, 152 Mt Coot-tha Rd, Toowong. Meet at the Kitchen in the Garden. A FREE event, phone 07 3403 2535 to book.

Your little ones will learn about the world of microgreens and growing vegetable shoots. Not only are microgreens a powerhouse of nutrition, but they are also super easy and quick to grow. The children will get to pot up some microgreen seeds to take home, care for and watch grow. It won't be long before they're tucking into a super snack. This form of growing easily fits on the kitchen bench and doesn't need all the space you would normally need for vegetables.

Please wear a hat, enclosed shoes and ensure you bring a water bottle and snack.
