The Little Sparrow Market flies into Federation Square only three times a year. If you missed the Market back in July, you should check the nest again on Sunday 25th September and Sunday 23rd October 2016 from 10.30am to 4pm.
The Little Sparrow Market shines a spotlight on many high profile, independent Melbourne designers and artists, along with some of the best up and coming design students, making this more of a showcase or fair.
Patrons browse over 65 exhibitors featuring some really lovely, unique, specialty handmade wares. Shop or simply admire the quality workmanship and creativity, with the bonus option of being able to take home a few select pieces that really take your fancy.
Some of the exhibitors and items for sale include Next Romance jewellery, Light Box illuminated photographs, Tea Envy, creative planters, handmade cards, fashion, skin care and beauty products, felt toys, homewares, candles, decorator items and much more.
Entry to the Little Sparrow Market is free and there are three markets held each year in Melbourne. The Little Sparrow Market also appears in Ballarat with a $2 entry for adults, and the bonus Mad Hatter's Christmas Party coming on the 4th December to the Mornington Racecourse, which will have a $5 entry for adults, and children free.
The Little Sparrow Market appears in the Atrium at Federation Square, corner Swanston & Flinders Streets, Melbourne. You can access the Atrium via Flinders Street next to ACMI or find The Square on Swanston Street and travel down the stairs or lift. Alternatively, enter from Level 3 of the Federation Square car park.
There is a 24-hour, multi-level car park at Federation Square with entry points on Russell Street and Batman Avenue.
