Waffles that will leave you wanting more

Little Shop of Waffles is a hidden gem in the heart of Manly, serving some of the best bubble waffles in town - all made fresh daily on the premises.

When I recently visited, I was like a kid in a candy store – so many delicious choices. After much deliberation, I chose their Pavlova pom pom waffle and my favourite almond cappuccino.

The experience at Little Shop of Waffles is like no other. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a special treat with friends or family or to meet new people.

The shop has a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is friendly and welcoming and will go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience.

You can even watch your special waffle be made. Bubble Waffles are made from flour plus eggs and evaporated milk mixed together into pancake-like shapes. The batter is poured into a hot waffle iron and cooked until it's golden brown and crispy.

Give your waffles an extra special touch with a range of flavours including cinnamon, chocolate chip cookie dough or blueberry jam.

Take your waffle to the next level by adding gelato, nuts, cookies, chocolate, marshmallows, fruit, syrup and other yummy toppings. The end result is a delicious, fresh, fluffy waffle that will leave you wanting more.

If you prefer vegan or gluten-free options, Little Shop of Waffles has something for you too.

Although seating is limited inside, there are tables available outside or you can order home delivery through Deliveroo / Doordash or get a take away and enjoy your bubble waffle at the beach.

Little Shop of Waffles was founded by four friends (Irene Zalami, Naomi Mourra, Alex Potter and Saskia Schuck), who were inspired by Hong Kong's popular street food - egg pancakes or "bubble" as it is sometimes called, but never found them anywhere in Sydney.

The team took our popular Australian flavour combinations like pavlova and added a unique Aussie twist to them by combining fresh fruit with meringue in between two waffles.

Their mission is to create joy and lasting memories, so they wanted to offer the northern beaches community something new and unique. And they have certainly succeeded.

Apart from offering delicious treats, the company also believes in giving back through their kindness coffees and Northern Beaches Women's Shelter.

If you're looking for a delicious, satisfying breakfast or lunch, be sure to check out Little Shop of Waffles. You won't be disappointed.
