The Little River Hotel, situated beside the river at Little River, is a lovely pub. I've dined at the Little River Hotel for dinner in their dining room. Their meals are huge, well presented, and the cost of meals is quite reasonable.

It is a big hotel with a large dining area, a bar, a pool table, and plenty of room outside for dining or for sitting outside at the large tables and having a beer or wine, or even a soft drink.

We recently went there for lunch and had a bar meal. My meal was beer battered barramundi, and my friend ate chicken parmigiana. The meals were delicious and very filling.

The hotel has a huge verandah with lots of funky furniture situated under the verandah. The pub looks lovely from the outside and is even nicer inside. The dining room is set up nicely and could cater for any occasion. The whole place was clean and the bar staff were friendly.

The Little River Hotel is off the Melbourne Highway, on the way to Geelong. If you're coming to Geelong from Melbourne, turn off when you see the sign for Little River. Follow the road off the highway, through the small township of Little River, and continue towards the river. Don't turn right over the railway line or you'll miss the pub.
Described as an old country town pub with character galore, a warm atmosphere and friendly service, give the Little River Hotel a try when you head down to Geelong.
