An accessible trail with accessible picnic areas

Ambling around a former quarry site, Little Quarry Loop is an easy 650-metre trail catering for all levels of ability. Its hard-packed gravel surface particularly suits people with prams or limited mobility access. Three accessible picnic areas can also be found dotted around the trail, which is extremely convenient.

Quartzite was quarried here in the late 1800s, and Little Quarry Loop gives you a glimpse of one of these quarries. Beginning near the car park, it is well-marked with a series of signs and often used by walkers as well as novice riders such as children. So, please be considerate when walking or cycling. Dogs are also welcome but do ensure that they are kept on a lead at all times.

Little Quarry Loop is the only accessible trail in Anstey Hill Recreation Park. Enter via Gate 1, just off North East Road, near the old Tea Tree Gully Village.
