Acclaimed Black Pig Deli will celebrate its expansion with the opening of Little Pig Eatery, by providing its first 200 customers with a free coffee.

The eatery at 890 Beaufort Street in Inglewood is an extension of Black Pig Deli, next door, which has developed a cult following in Perth for its house charcuterie and small-batch artisan products.

It will open on Monday, October 12.

Many of the products featured in the deli will star in their dine-in and takeaway food offerings at the eatery. During the day, Little Pig will offer dine-in, takeaway food, coffee and at night provide a space for functions, events, training and education.

Co-owner of Little Pig Eatery and Black Pig Deli, Marissa Bielawski, says long table events, charcuterie and cheese tastings, small-batch winery, brewery and distillery tastings will be among the kind of events to be held at the eatery.

There will be lazy Saturday or Sunday BYO afternoons with charcuterie and cheese. As well as cheese and charcuterie plates, food on offer will include toasties, house-made sausage rolls and pies, sweets and cakes and great coffee.

Black Pig Deli's pork rillette toasties and Reubens, already a favourite with deli customers, will be on offer at the eatery, with charcutier, Adam Bielawski's handcrafted cured meat, cheese and pickles at the heart of the eatery offerings.

The business, which is part-owned by Perth entrepreneur Gerry Matera, will celebrate its Indigenous links by featuring lesser-known and unusual native ingredients in some of its dishes. Marissa describes Little Pig as being a warm and welcoming addition to Inglewood's Beaufort St strip, making it the perfect meeting place for a coffee or to pick up something to eat and a coffee to go. Small batch, signature blend cold brew will also be on tap.

Little Pig, which will have a chillout outdoor area, will welcome children and dogs which are an important part of the Inglewood community.

Marissa says Little Pig Eatery will provide friendly old school hospitality and staff who are well trained and understand their products. Parking and access are available at the rear of the building.

Little Pig will be open Monday to Friday from 6am to 4pm and Saturday and Sunday from 6am to 5pm.
