I love writing about eating and travelling and have other things to share on here and on my Facebook.

Another fantastic gem in the town of Bacchus Marsh. Little Lucky Cafe is its name and quaint could be its fame. But it is more than just quaint. At least on the cute outside. Inside it is lovely but simple and there is something for anyone menu wise and for all ages.
The cute and inviting entrance
It is in a country style weatherboard house, so first up you expect the usual scones and teas. But I did not notice a scone in sight. However, that is a good thing as there is so much more to choose from. Breakfast all day. Or lunch fair with toasties or full hot meals and the loveliest of gourmet cakes. I had a herb chicken and spinach toastie with caramelised onions, and it all came together deliciously. There are other special spins on the old toasties too.
Very difficult to decide between the lunch or breakfast menu, so it certainly is great when you can go with a group to sample and share. While I was there was a group of four senior ladies who all chose something different, between the soup of the day, brekky egg and bacon roll, pizza and barramundi fish and chips.
Interesting words on the wall apart from the menu
Yes, so much to choose from makes me want to go back tomorrow and try the rest of the fare and take in the rustic meets cosmopolitan atmosphere of the Little Lucky Cafe. The lucky part is being lucky enough to give it a visit.
