Little Land is a unique play centre offering scaled down versions of real-life activities and scenarios in which children can role-play. Little Land is located at 76 Erindale Road in Balcatta with plenty of parking available in the carpark located behind the centre. Although there is no age limit, the centre has been designed for children up to the approximate age of 8 years old. It also caters for babies in the "Very Little Land" area.

Children are encouraged to explore the "town" which is divided up into a number of stalls. These include a cafe, supermarket, doctors surgery, vet clinic, construction site, office and classroom amongst many more. Each stall is set up with props and/or costumes to encourage imaginative role-play. The Little Land staff are brilliant and although parents are encouraged to tidy the stall up a little before moving to the next, we noticed staff quietly and unobtrusively tidying and resetting the stalls throughout the session.

Outside of the stalls are a number of other props, including an ice cream truck and fire engine.

Play sessions run for 90 minutes and must be booked in ahead of time. Entry costs $15 per child with free entry for one adult per paying child. For pre-walkers or those under the age of one, entry is $10, or free with a paid sibling entry. Bookings can be made via the
Little Land website. The centre is open Tuesday through Saturday, with three play sessions running on weekdays and four sessions on Saturday.
While no kiosk is available, Little Land does allow outside food to be brought in to the centre. There is a seating area with tables and chairs just outside the play space. It also has a microwave for convenience. You can freely move between this area and the play space throughout the session, however, all toys or props must stay in the play space.
