The Perfect Chinese Dining Experience
Inspire your Asian culinary senses by indulging in an all you can eat hot pot and BBQ buffet at Little Lamb.

Little Lamb Hot Pot & BBQ Restaurant is located amongst a buzzing restaurant strip tucked away in Runcorn, a surburb which forms part of Brisbane's Asian heart. Little Lamb primarily caters for the Chinese community in Brisbane and because of this you will be sure to get an authentic, oriental dining experience. This place is always packed full so it's best to make a booking to avoid disappointment.

As the name suggests, Little Lamb provides you with a Chinese hot pot and BBQ all you can eat buffet (there is a 2 hour limit, but fear not as you'll no doubt eat your moneys worth in this time). The buffet costs $30 per person. For those of you who aren't familiar with hot pot, it is a traditional variety of East Asian Food in which you cook your ingredients ranging from meats, to vegetables and seafood, in a simmering pot of stock at the table. Little Lamb has a variety of hot pot flavours for you to choose from. In conjunction with hot pot, Little Lamb provides a charcoal BBQ which has the capability to rotate your kebabs which saves you having to do it yourself. Bonus! Also, charcoal BBQs = food with a delicious, smokey flavour.

A word of caution, this restaurant does not cater for typical 'western' tastes. The food is very typical of what you would expect in East Asia. There is a never ending assortment of food ranging from meat/seafood kebabs, to asian vegetables, noodles, pre-cooked stirfries, fishablls, tofu, sauces and condiments.

For the most part the food was delicious and authentic! The only downside I felt was that the meats used for the lamb and beef kebabs were cheap cuts of meat. Due to this, the kebabs were ridiculously oily and I could feel my arteries starting to clog as I ate. (Not really, but you get the point).

There isn't much on offer for dessert, only a small fruit platter & ice-cream. However in all honesty, dessert will probably be the last thing on your mind after dinner.

Little Lamb is licensed and has a selection of alcoholic beverages for you to purchase if you so desire. Unlimited softdrinks, juices & iced teas are included in the buffet price.

All in all, an enjoyable dining experience! As soon as I stepped in the door it felt like I was dining in an exotic country even if it was only for 1 night. For more information on Little Lamb, refer to their Facebook Page.
