In life, we encounter different situations that need out of the box solutions. Creativity develops problem-solving skills and resourcefulness. Kids learn perseverance in accomplishing an art piece, learn to concentrate and focus, discover that they can communicate their feelings and thoughts without using words and best of all, it builds self-confidence.
The exhibit aims to foster creativity in children, but more importantly, communicates the value placed on a child. At the end of the day, the art kids produce is so much a part of them that seeing it displayed on a wall brings incalculable worth.
Four year old Mr. I, happily works on his Van Gogh inspired Starry Night with a bunny watching over the town below. See this completed painting at the exhibit and be inspired to help your child make their own version.
Kids love colour and enjoy exploring what their little hands can create. Art opens their world to a bigger colourful world of imagination and creativity.
If your child enjoys art, bring them to get inspired and get their creative juices flowing!
This 7-year old artist only had 3 colours to work with to create this beautiful still life. Red, yellow and blue. All other colours, she mixed by herself! See more art at the Little Kids, Big Art Show in Chatswood from 9 November 2019 to 31 January 2020.
