Hidden in a wee lane in Kingaroy is a delightful authentic Italian restaurant. I am new to Kingaroy and only found it as I happened to visit a park nearby. Once found, I immediately arranged a lunch date with a friend who is also not a Kingaroy resident.
I noticed that they have a special pizza night on Friday evenings, the only evening they are open. It's BYO and you have a choice of 13 " or 10" pizzas. I'm sure there is something for everyone.
Another special occasion they hold is on Thursdays. It's pasta day! Yum, authentic Italian pasta. They make cannoli along with other Italian sweets to have with their delicious coffees.
As a vegan, I was thrilled to have a choice of delicious baked vegetables and pesto in a toasted focaccia roll. There were several different varieties of fillings all pre-prepared, so service was very quick. The staff were very friendly and very efficient. It's always a bonus to have your table cleared as soon as you finish eating, but no pressure to move on. They had a very busy takeaway service happening too. My next visit will be for morning tea to try their variety of sweets, but it will be a cannoli for sure.
