New Vegan Veg Cafe on Chapel Street
The Little Green on Chapel might be small, but it packs a mighty nutritious punch for foodies frequenting South Yarra.

Targeting vegan and vegetarian diners, the Little Green on Chapel is a bar-style cafe serving up fresh, mainly plant-based eats. Smoothies, fresh juices, vegan bowls and an interesting variety of jaffles are on the menu at the Little Green on Chapel, offering quick and healthy takeaway bites for South Yarra locals and visitors.

The Little Green on Chapel falls under the same ownership as HELLO SAM across the road, which has become the go to restaurant for vegan burgers in the South Yarra.

Veganism is on the rise, which gave HELLO SAM's owner a reason to seek a new venue to serve up healthy treats to those who prefer plant-based foods.

Stop by for an appetising, hearty brunch or a lunchtime feed and fill your tummies with some of the freshest, reasonably priced foods on Chapel Street.

Top eats include vegan bowls;

Mexican Bowl: vegan chilli, brown rice, guacamole, tomato salsa, corn chips and vegan sour cream.

Middle Eastern Bowl: Egyptian falafel, quinoa tabbouleh, grated beets, carrot, cucumber salsa & pickled veg with a tahini dressing.

Greek Lentil Bowl: Tomato braised lentils with carrot, celery, roasted kale and broccoli with toasted sourdough.

Super Green Bowl: Roasted kale, broccoli, quinoa tabbouleh, spinach leaves, zucchini noodles, roasted chickpeas & pepitas with an avocado dressing.

Rainbow Salad Bowl: Brown rice, kale, broccoli, grated beets, carrot, pepitas & currants with an avocado dressing.

Sweet tooth craving? No problem. A Bircher Bowl made with overnight soaked oaks, berries, banana, chia seeds & peanut butter topped with chocolate granola is the way to go. Better yet, choose the Snickers Bowl; banana, cacao, peanut butter and mace made with almond milk and topped with chocolate granola & fruit. Otherwise, opt for the fruity Acai Bowl - packed with nutrients and flavour.

The humble jaffle is fully embraced at the Little Green on Chapel, so much so there are 7 varieties to choose from in both sweet and savoury forms.
