Little Gnome Celebrates Childrens Book Week 2016
It is almost Children's Book Week, when schools, libraries, bookshops, authors, illustrators and of course, children collide to celebrate all things books and reading.

Wynnum's favourite book store, Little Gnome, has ensured local readers are included in the celebrations with a day of fun and freebies planned. The little shop will be bulging with books for the tiniest of readers, grown up kids and the young at heart.

Classic favourites like Peter Rabbit and The Very Hungry Caterpillar will sit on the shelves alongside the Taya Bayliss series and the magical Legends of Marithia fantasy series, ensuring no reading level is overlooked.

During the day, local authors will be on hand to read and sign their books as well as discuss their works with their fans.

Local author Katrina Logan will be in store from 10.30am with her fantastically favourite books Day by the Bay and Straddie. These two make great gifts, so grandparents and parents take note.
