As a first time mum, I have quickly learned that babies and toddlers can be expensive. With babies growing so rapidly, the clothes, equipment and toys they require can change just as quickly.

This is where the really come in handy.

Located at indoor venues, the are held regularly in Hillcrest at the Logan West Community Centre; in Beenleigh at the Beenleigh PCYC and coming soon to Jimboomba.

The markets are open from 9am-12pm and entry is $3 for adults and children are free.

This is a great morning out for everyone, at most venues there is a sausage sizzle, coffee cart, sweets and face painting and a jumping castle for the kids (for an extra charge).

At the markets you will find a mix of brand new and pre-loved items, if there is something in particular you are looking for this is the place to find it.

The markets are usually very busy first thing, in my experience if you want to beat the crowds head on down around 11am. There are still plenty of bargains to be had at this time and less jostling to get to them. Have a chat to the stall holder, you should be able to get a good deal, most would rather sell then have to pack up and take it home again.

If you have a new product to sell or are having a clear out at home and are interested in being a stall holder stalls start at $35 and you can contact the owner through the website for more information.
