A newcomer to Melbourne, I love exploring the city and sourrounds by day and night, finding bargains, learning new things, the great outdoors and Melbourne life in general.

Vege breakfast and lunch in Coburg
Little Deer Tracks is a favourite with Coburg locals seeking breakfast, lunch or coffee. The all-vegetarian Italian menu (with plenty of vegan options) includes a vast breakfast range, pasta, salads, burgers, cutlets, cakes and deserts, smoothies, and alcoholic drinks.

Reasonably priced, with main meals around $15 and breakfast $10, the food is freshly cooked, organic and delicious, and whilst the portions are not massive, you will leave fully satisfied and planning your return visit.

Table service is offered as well as take-away and the cafe caters to groups and is child-friendly. There is a small courtyard too.

More than a cafe, Little Deer Tracks also functions as a gallery space, with local artists' works on display for sale. Currently, water colours by Marcos Garcia are exhibited. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to farm sanctuary Edgar's Mission so it is well worth a purchase.

The exhibitions change every few weeks so you can be sure of changing surroundings with your lunch!

If you are looking for homemade, healthy vegetarian food, friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere, check out Little Deer Tracks Cafe. You may even leave with a painting.
