Little Big Shots is a film festival especially for kids. Not only has it been designed for a variety of age groups, the films have been made by an assortment of talented children who explore a variety of media.



Each year the festival runs over the Queen's birthday long weekend in June, with screenings also showing on Saturday and Sunday 30-31st May 2015 - the weekend before the long weekend.

The festival is held at the Australian Centre for Moving Image (ACMI) which is located in Federation Square, opposite Flinders Street Station.


The festival includes a variety of different short films packaged together based on age group suitability and great if you have kids spanning a wider age group.

In all, there are 11 packages this year to choose from :

Package 1 - Tiny Tots (ages 2-5)
Package 2 - Little Tykes (ages 3-7)
Package 3 - Tykes to Ten (ages 4-10)
Package 4 - Forever Young (ages 5 to 15)
Package 5 - Six to Tween (ages 6-12)
Package 6 - Tweenarama (ages 8-12)
Package 7 - The Next Big Thing (ages 8-15)
Package 8 - Big Kids Flicks (ages 11-15)
Package 9 - LBS Up Late (ages 13 and up)
Package 10 - Aussie Aussie Aussie (ages 5-15)
Package 11 - Best of the Fest (ages 5-15)

Little Big Shots, an assortment of different films for different age groups. Make sure you book online before going to ensure you get tickets as they do sell out fast. Tickets are on sale from May.
