Bringing the beauty inside
Sabine Kehoe is an artist on a mission. A healer by trade as a physiotherapist, she wants to use her art to to brighten people's lives.

In her paintings, Sabine amplifies small beauties that surround us, like delicate flowers, even a bag of cherry tomatoes, to make such beauties be seen and appreciated.

She explains that we can go through life being busy and missing the beauty that is all around us and which can make us happy. She decided that if she painted "those little beautiful things which people overlook" and paint them really big, these things would then get noticed and appreciated. Hence the name of her new exhibition, "Little Big", opening August 5th at Aspire Gallery in Paddington.

Sabine wants her artwork to invoke feelings of warmth, happiness and relaxation. Her paintings are bright and vibrant, bursting with colour and detail, larger than life.

Sabine has exhibited previously at the Brisbane Rotary Art Spectacular, Brisbane Art Extravaganza, the Toowoomba Art Society, the Grammar School Art Exhibition, the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers and at the Moonie Art Exhibition.

This exhibition runs from August 5th to 22nd, with an exhibition evening on Saturday 15th August 4:30-6:30pm.
