Little Ban Ban at Port Adelaide Plaza is one of the three branches located in Adelaide. The other two are situated at Rundle Mall Plaza and Elizabeth City Centre. Little Ban Ban at Port Adelaide Plaza specialises in offering Korean food, with a focus on Korean Fried Chicken. Compared to Ban Ban , the main restaurant in Adelaide CBD, the dishes at Little Ban Ban lean towards street food style fare rather than those that can be found in restaurants.

When ordering their Korean Fried Chicken, you can choose from wings, drumsticks and boneless pieces and your choice of sauce. The Chicken Wings we chose had juicy flesh contrasted well by the crisp coating. For the sauce, we chose a half and half mix of the restaurant's secret sauce and sweet & spicy sauce. The sweet & spicy sauce had a nice degree of heat and their secret sauce tasted a bit like soy & garlic sauce with a hint of chilli. Mayonnaise was drizzled over the secret sauce chicken for a bit of extra flavour.

Their Rice Cake Skewers were not too chewy and the exterior had a nice crispness. The degree of spiciness of the sauce they were drizzled with should be suitable for most tastes. Crushed peanuts provided a bit of crunch.

Compared to their Rice Cake Skewers, the rice sticks in the Topokki in a Cup had a softer texture, while still retaining the characteristic chewy texture. Fish cake and onions complemented the rice sticks nicely and the sauce had a medium degree of spiciness. Take care when eating the dish as it is served steaming hot.

The portion size of their Chips was very generous. The chips were fried to golden brown with the crisp exterior contrasting well with the fluffy interior. The seasoning they were tossed in made them taste moreish, making it hard to stop at just one.

For dessert, you can order Soft-Serve Ice Cream which can be ordered in honeydew or matcha flavour or a mix of the two. The honeydew flavour was not too sweet and the matcha ice cream had a slight bitter flavour. The refreshing flavours make their ice cream a good finish after consuming their spicier main dishes.

The décor of the restaurant gave it a modern feel. Its location makes it convenient for visitors to Port Adelaide Plaza to have a taste of Korean cuisine.
