Fresh, local delicious cafe fare
Tucked town a little alley in Narwee is a local gem, dishing up healthy and delicious treats, juices, smoothies and coffee. Meet the Little Alley Cafe, where discerning diners can enjoy sourdough sourced from Brasserie Bread Co and tea from TeaCraft. Check out their menu here.
I visited on a peaceful weekday morning for a relaxing brunch. They have several outdoor tables and inside there is a large wooden table where you can spread out. My Alley Toast version 4 featured a slice of crisp sourdough topped with generous slices of avocado, quinoa, tomato salsa and a nicely poached egg. It went down very well with one of their juices, which change daily and are written up on the blackboard.
After a wait, our other dish of French Toast arrived. Was it worth the wait? It was certainly made with love and care, although it would have been nice to be able to enjoy our meal together while my Alley Toast was still warm.
