I'm in Melbourne often enough - so why not write a bit about some places I've seen :)

Indulge yourself in a triple treat of waterfalls! Delight your senses and discover yourself through an undulating pathway of mountain ash forest and thickets of ferns at Triplet Falls.

Here in the Otways National Park, adventure awaits as your enter the return walk to the Triplet Falls on Phillips Track in Beech Forest, along the Great Ocean Road. The 2 kilometre walk will take you through some amazing scenery as you descend further into a mystical rainforest. Allow one hour for this return trek and prepare for some steps and slippery pathways but once you reach the spectacular waterfalls you will find yourself at such serenity that the walk will not seem a difficult task at all.

As you reach the water cascading over the rocks, you will be impressed. But don't stop there keep walking up a little further and you will find yourself at the next level of the waterfall. And as the name suggests, there is a third level to ascend to. This unique pathway offers three viewing points to take in the spectacle of the waterfall.

After admiring the Triplet Falls, if you have the energy then give the trek to the Little Aire Falls a go as well. This walk is 5 kilometre return and needs about two hours to be completed. The pathway is more complex and a little more strenuous, but for this walk the journey is very much part of the destination. Make the most of the clean forest air, the sweet dewy smells and the trickling water surrounding you as you make your way to the Little Aire Falls.

These waterfalls are located along the scenic Great Ocean Road, about a 2.5 hour drive from Melbourne and 1.5 hours from Geelong.
