Curatorial Tour – The Photography of Ulrich Wüst

Ulrich Wust is a key figure in late 20th Century German photography. The work is a unique record of the lost and/or transforming East German culture, cities, and landscapes. They bear witness to urban environments scarred by war and rebuilt hastily. While the observations captured by Wust are essentially rooted in Germany at the same time they relate to the universal phenomena of social change and its material manifestations. Exhibition Curator Matthias Flügge joins from Germany for an informative floor talk and exhibition tour.
