Last night I went to Tuxedo Cat to see Lisa-Skye's Spiders Wearing Party Hats at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Book your tickets

Cuddled in an intimate room upstairs of obvious followers, and curious spectators of queer and beyond, this show was a sell-out. Latecomers were welcomed with a bombastic version of the B52's hit 'Loveshack' belted out by Lisa-Skye and audience. Many latecomers were turned away as there was no room at the inn. So don't let your pleasure horse bolt, harness your tickets today!

Sacrifices
Lisa-Skye describes herself as 'Australia's favourite weirdo sparklepuppy muppet dominatrix comedian'.
Spiders Wearing Party Hats is an honest, humourous fireside chat with Lisa-Skye about her life as a writer, performer, comedian, wife, lover, girlfriend, femme daddy, and dominatrix.
For the uninitiated with queer and polyamorous culture, this is a great show to chat about the XYZ of the ABC of the queer - poly world in a safe space. You will learn about Lisa-Skye's encounters with Hair Ombudspersons, how colour is vitally important to her identity, and why she loves her husband.

Lisa-Skye's colour and vitality
More than anything else, this show is really about love, 'amore', intimacy, absence and realising that you are special to someone even if your inner critic disagrees. In the end, whether in Berlin, Scotland or Adelaide, we're here for a short time, so make it a good time!

Are you curious?
So cure your fear of missing out, and head to the Tuxedo Cat to Lisa-Skye's femme chamber for crazy glitter bombing love, fictional bedtime stories from on high and lots of laughs.
