It's late, you've run out of liquid party supplies, and you're not quite sober enough to dash out and get more. Or, maybe you're feeling too lazy to leave the house, but are craving some beers to go with that pizza you've ordered.
Enter Liquorun, an alcohol delivery service which operates in Melbourne's inner suburbs. Liquorun boasts that the time between you placing an order through their website, and them arriving at your door, is a mere thirty minutes.

Liquorun services the inner northern, eastern and south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne, with new locations being added as the fledgling company grows. The delivery fee varies with location, but is typically around $8.
The available brands and types of alcohol depend on where you are, as Liquorun has affiliations with various bottle shops in the areas they deliver to. Whether you're a cider sipper, a wine guzzler, a vodka shotter, or a beer swiller, there is a reasonably large range of popular brands available. Liquorun was the brainchild of a group of footballers, so as you might expect, they specialise in beer.
It's well-known that having a full stomach before you drink allows you to handle your liquor better. Luckily, you don't even have to leave the house to obtain a burger, the perfect edible companion to your drinks. Liquorun have recently teamed up with Mr Burger. Mr Burger is a burger truck company which you usually have to chase down. The laziest among us will appreciate that now, the burgers can come to you.
Liquorun is, of course, limited to over 18s and ID must be shown when the order is delivered. The service runs from 6pm to 11pm each night.
I'd like it a lot better if they supplied only AUSTRALIAN Ciders, not NZ, Dutch or anyone else's efforts. Australia has some of the best Ciders in the world - that is the true Cider, not flavored lolly water for kids. C'mon guys, give Aussie a job for a change, please!
