Bikes of all makes, ages & nationalities on show
Statistics state that there are around 849.3 thousand registered motorcycles in Australia and that most motorcycle enthusiasts consider their chosen mode of transport is far more important than just a means of getting from A to B. Already estimated to be more than two billion bikes around the World, over fifty percent of the population, knows how to ride a bike.
Considering the above figures, there is no doubt why the Lions Bike Show, which is held each year in the Adelaide Hills, is such a success. Hosted by the Lions Bike Show committee, the organisers are tipping this year's event on 4th November 2018, to be bigger and better than previous years with a line-up of new features and many more beautiful motorcycles to see.
Although you may be just a keen spectator like most of the visitors on the day, exhibitors, clubs and traders will be showcasing all there is on offer for you to enjoy. The latest gadgets, accessories and all-things motorcycles will be on available to purchase. The day will include a bike show, swap meet, live music, bar, coffee, BBQ and desserts. Entry to the day is $5.00 per person; children under fourteen years are free.
Clubs are invited to enter their bikes for $5.00 /person and there will be a prize for the best club display. Clubs are required to email details to the event organisers with the names of the members attending and the bikes they will be bringing to ensure space on the oval.
Individuals are also encouraged to enter their bikes for $5.00 per person and they will receive a free Shannon's goodie bag. Again, you must email the organisers with your name and details of the bike/bikes entered.
For anyone wishing to be a "Trader" on the day, there is a $20.00 entry fee and you must bring your own gazebo. There is a stallholder declaration form on the website that must be downloaded and filled out prior to entry.
Bikes of all ages, makes and nationalities are welcome at this event. Enjoy the ride or drive down to the quaint town of Macclesfield in the upper reaches of the River Angas in the Adelaide Hills for this great annual event. Times for the day are from 9.00am to 4.00pm.
