A fun way to practice languages
At 6pm, every Wednesday night at the EL Coco Cuban Bar, is Lingos, where multiple languages can be heard being spoken by people who are not only practising new languages, but are also making new friends. Lingos Melbourne, as the name suggests, is a free language and cultural exchange event where locals and people from all around the world are able to mingle and exchange languages.

The event works by participants wearing stickers with the flag of the country representing the language or languages that they can speak from most proficient to least proficient, then participants can decide who to talk to based on the language or languages that they speak.

Lingos Melbourne is a popular event, and often has at least 20 languages represented at their events ranging from Chinese to French to German to Portuguese. So there is usually someone to talk to in your own language, especially if you have more then one of them!

So if you are keen to practice your language or keep up your fluency once you have learnt it, then come along to this fun and friendly event.
