A fun day out for the whole family
On Saturday 20th May, 2017, Lindesay is hosting a Scottish-themed Highland Gathering as part of the Australian Heritage Festival.

Located at Darling Point, Lindesay was built in 1834 and is listed by the Heritage Council as a building of historical significance.

It was one of the first major houses to be constructed on Darling Point and has been the home of many colourful characters. It is now owned by the National Trust of Australia.

The Lindesay Highland Gathering commences at 11am and will be a fun-filled celebration of all things Scottish.

Entry is priced at $10 and all are welcome to enjoy a tour of the historic harbourside mansion. There will also be a range of activities and entertainment on offer throughout the day including Scottish music & pipers, Scottish dancing, Scottish genealogy information and Oral history gathered by The Women's Committee relating to Lindesay.
