What does it take to reach the stars?
Part reality show, part history-making space mission, Limit follows the story of Marc and Sarah (played by James Smith and Rachel Burke), winners of a reality TV show who pack up their lives and head for Mars.

Presented as part of State Theatre Company South Australia's Umbrella program, which supports new, independent Australian work, Limit is written by Sophia Simmons and directed by Shannon Rush. Smith and Burke are joined on stage by voiceovers from Terence Crawford and Rebecca Mayo, as they take us into outer space.

Winning a trip to Mars in a reality TV program may seem a little farfetched, but as we get closer and closer to the first commercial space flights in today's reality TV obsessed world, the idea may be closer than we think.

Marc and Sarah's journey is watched by millions of people back on earth, and as the cameras continue to roll they start to question their decision. Taking to the stage at Bakehouse Theatre from October 24, Limit takes a look at humanity, isolation, and what someone will do to survive.

Limit brings reality and science fiction to the stage, and will have you wondering - would I take a one way trip to Mars?
