In Catholic theology Limbo is on the edge of Hell and is reserved for those who die in original sin.

Limbo in the entertainment world is a very edgy circus, and that's using the word circus very loosely. Director Scott Maidment says Limbo is 'the greatest party between heaven and hell!'

The West Australian calls it 'An award-winning mix of sexy circus, risqué cabaret, vivacious vaudeville and gonzo comedy.' Which is as close a description of the mayhem as any.

Limbo makes it's first visit to Perth in the entirely new venue for the Fringe World , the Fairground at Elizabeth Quay, which I'm told is known as 'Betty's Jetty' around Perth.

Limbo's line up includes sword swallower Heather Holliday; French pole master and clown, Mikael Bres; Australia's dancer Hilton Denis; the French-Canadian aerialist, Evelyne Allard and many more.

Limbo runs from January the 30th at the Palais Des Glaces Spiegeltent in the Fringe World Fairground at the new Elizabeth Quay in Perth until the 6th of March.
