Sooki Lounge are doing what they do best time and again. Entertain! If I were you I'd definitely follow their page for events as there is always something happening at this eclectic venue. Not only is it a beautiful thing to sit and relax here listening to tunes, they have great tapas, killer brownies and are always around to support the arts in the belgrave/hills area.


On Saturday the 13th of December at 9pm Sooki Lounge are hosting Lilly & King who are supported by the NZ alternative folk group Eyreton Hall . Music starts at 9pm and entry is $10. Join their FB Event Page to keep abreast of updates.


Describing their music as musical junkyard, blissful, beautiful, dirty and wicked, Lilly & King play dixieland punk, sailor songs, blues, bluegrass, burlesque, weird carnie show tunes and the odd bit of curious pop and street corner stomp. They reckon they sit somewhere between a captivating 40's nightclub routine and the raw, reckless spirit of New Orleans street buskers.

Involved in many festival and having played at many venues, they've also supported performers like Joe Camilleri and the Black Sorrows, Lloyd Spiegel, Kerri Simpson and the Ska Vendors and Kutcha Edwards. Check them out at the Sooki Lounge for a bit of a wild and wicked walk on the wild-side.
