You may have heard of the hilarious, Queen-movement campaigner - Constance Hall; her name has been slathered across social media for the last year. You may even recall the foul-mouthed, beer-lover from her younger days with her stint on the Television series, Big Brother

If you haven't heard of her yet, look her up now! Even Hollywood celebrities like Ashton Kutcher and Ellen are fans of her blogs.

Her blogs are hilarious. They cover everything from parental sex to more serious subjects as depression and anxiety. Her writing is definitely not for the faint-hearted, with most sentences littered with colourful language, and no topic is taboo.

It is from her success with her blogs/website/facebook page, that a profound movement of like-minded 'Queens' have joined forces to become a sisterhood - or more aptly, a Queenhood, that sees kindness and self-acceptance as fundamental requirements.

So popular is this group, that it has seen Constance self-publish her debut novel, 'Like a Queen', which has been received with great acclaim.

I have just finished reading this book, and I feel like I can change the world. It makes me want to do a million things; like sponsor a less fortunate family, give a compliment to a passing female, hug my kids more tightly, reach out to fellow mums who might need some help - but most of all, to just be more accepting in general and be the change I want to see in the world.

It is a deeply inspiring, empowering, feminist ( not man-hating) memoir; full of realistic advice and idealistic aspirations from a very kind hearted, Queen-worshipping soul.
It will have you laughing out loud at some of her terminology and life experiences - like how she actually wrapped up her mucous plug in a cloth nappy to take with her when she was in labour; to then pondering how the world can be so cruel as you read about her troubled adolescence- including being beat up on the streets by random strangers.

Constance holds nothing back. The memoir will deeply resonate with thousands of mothers who struggle with their daily existence. It is definitely worth reading, and would make a fabulous Baby Shower gift - providing a more accurate portrayal of birth and the first few months of new motherhood than more traditional books might.
