Thousands of floating lanterns
Bring your family and friends to the river bank on War Memorial Drive in North Adelaide for an event that they'll remember forever.

The Lights on the Water Fest will start at 5pm, where you'll find lots of great food, live music, dancing and good vibes.

While relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere, you're encouraged to personalise your lantern. You may want to draw a picture or write a message on your lantern. It may be a message to someone else, or a message to yourself about what is meaningful to you.

Then, at sunset, each person will send their LED candle-powered floating water lanterns into the river to create a surreal vision of light.

The people behind the Lights Water Fest are dedicated to leaving a positive impact on everyone who attends the event, and this includes the environment too.

The lanterns have a candle-like LED light in them, which is a prime safety feature in summer in Australia.

Lights on the Water have a "Leave No Trace" policy. There's a large cleanup crew who wait downstream in the water and collect all the lanterns so that the river is left just as it was found. All of the lanterns are 100% biodegradable.

Whether you're commemorating or celebrating, you'll be creating a special memory that will last a lifetime.

Each ticket comes with a lantern.
