The Lights Out Festival is one of the newest up and coming cultural events, presented by the not for profit media and arts organisation, Colosoul Group Inc. This year's festival on 23 March will be a musical, fashion and arts collaboration reflecting the new generation.
It coincides with Earth Hour in Perth, an hour where the world is encouraged to switch off all non-essential electricity and raise awareness about the environment and energy conservation. The Bakery in Northbridge will be presenting the following music acts:
It also features Street Artist Jackson Harvey and fashion from Fox Feet. In between the seven live performances displaying a diverse range of some of Perth's most talented acts, the event will be featuring 'dark' sets between 8.30 and 9.30pm to raise awareness for opportunities to reduce energy output without giving up quality entertainment.
Expect local art installations, film and fashion stalls to be showcased around the venue.
Part proceeds will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund and the Earth Hour cause as well as The Esther Foundation, a young women's health and development program.
