Lights On: QMusic - Songs From Your Shutdown

Brisbane musicians will be sharing and showcasing the musical experiences they created during the COVID 19 pandemic lockdown period in the unique "Songs from your shutdown" performances at the Brisbane Powerhouse on Friday 14 to Saturday 15 August 2020.
Headlining the
Songs From Your Shutdown shows is one of Brisbane's favourite musical sons, Robert Forster, formerly of The Go-Betweens, who have a Brisbane bridge named after them. Forster will be joined by Darren Hanlon, Sycco and Minor Premiers who will share their perspectives of what the shutdown meant for them.
Over two days, the shows will be presented as part of
Lights On: QMusic Queensland's music industry development association. Tickets range from $98 for a table for 2 through to $294 for a table of 6 or more plus a $6.90 transaction fee. The duration of the performance is 60 minutes.
The
Brisbane Powerhouse , one of the city's premier performance venues, located on the banks of the Brisbane River at 116 Lamington Street (beside New Farm Park) and just 2kms from the Central Business District. The Powerhouse is accessible by car, ferry, bus and city cycle bike.
