Christmas lights, markets & family fun at Lobethal
The town of Lobethal is situated in the beautiful Adelaide Hills in South Australia and only thirty-five kilometres from Adelaide. In true country-style, Lobethal is the kind of town where people still make eye contact and smile when they pass by you in the street. Apart from heritage buildings, the local area is home to artists, fresh luscious apples and pears, vineyards and boutique beers, seasonal produce, market stalls, polocrosse horses and alpacas.

From Saturday 10th December through to New Year's Eve, Lobethal comes alive with The Lights of Lobethal Christmas Festival. This festival has been continuing for more than 60 years and was created by the community of Lobethal in the 1950s. It has evolved into the largest community light display in the Southern Hemisphere.
