Art in Public Places is a month long multi venue celebration of arts and ideas in all their forms throughout Hobsons Bay. Light up Logan is just the beginning. CLICK HERE for the program.
This event is when public spaces become art sites for you to discover artwork and artists from around the world and around the corner. It's a reminder that public spaces hold the great ability to host diverse social connections, communications and ideas for those who seek them, and for those who happen upon them.
There'll be other works by established and emerging light artists with projections, lights, sculpture, shadow and even sound. With works from Amanda Clark, Elizabeth Hooker, Giovanna Inserra, Nancy Lang, David Murphy and the Louis Joel Arts and Community Centre, be sure to check the program/website so you don't miss out. Staying updated via the Hobsons Bay City Council's Facebook page and the Art in Public Places Facebook page is not a bad idea either. Their event page is filled with other events you might be interested in.
