Light the Night is an annual event supporting cancer battlers and their loved ones in a memorable way, all around Australia. On wednesday September 21st, join the public at Elder Park, Adelaide and shine a lantern in honour of blood cancer survivors.
There are three lantern colours that will be lighting the night:
Gold 'love lights' remember loved ones lost. White 'life lights' reflect on someone's personal battle.
The lights will shine as the surrounding sky darkens, and stories of battles will be heard before the walk takes place; the walk that 'lights the night'.
With around 40,000 Australian families facing blood related disorders every day, such as leukaemia, lymphoma, and myeloma, it is important to get behind The Leukaemia Foundation and support this wonderful event.
Entry to the event is $20 per adult and includes their beautiful lantern to keep, entry to the walk, access to food stalls, and live entertainment. Children under 12 years are free.
Leo Sayer will be performing on the night, so be sure to be at Elder park by 5.30pm to enjoy the entertainment, and take part in a very special night.
