In this interactive and engaging course, students are invited to experiment with the creative possibilities of light painting, a popular photography technique that allows the photographer to illuminate a particular subject or entire scene.
Held at the Australian Centre for Photography, the comprehensive course will commence from Wednesday 27th July from 6pm to 9pm and continues to run on Wednesday evenings.
The curriculum consists of an analysis of selected works by a range of photographers, including Peter's own work. Peter will then will lead students through the fundamentals of this technique in both a studio and outdoor environment.
Students will also attend a lecture examining approaches to painting with lights, which will be followed by practical excursions and demonstrations.
This course is open to all and will suit budding photographers looking embrace new techniques and technologies. The course requirements include experience with Camera Craft 2 and students must bring their own DSLR or Mirrorless (MILC) camera and tripod.
