Coming to the Adelaide Zoo this winter, the Light Creatures exhibition is part of the Illuminate Adelaide festival. From the 29th of June to the 23rd of July, the gates will open at 6:30pm and welcome young and old to be part of this unique experience.



The Zoo will be lit up with some really awesome light installations and will be bigger and brighter (pun intended) than the successful 2021 and 2022 sessions.



This year there will be able to view more new species of larger-than-life characters. The old favourites will also be making an appearance as well as some really cool interactive installations.



The event will bring gentle giants to life as the sun sets, a canopy of vibrant jellyfish in the underwater section, and the new installation, the golden Falcon. This is a great evening out for the family and the lover of animals in general.



There are two session times for the exhibition, 6:30pm or 7:45pm. Please allow 60 minutes for the complete experience. Tickets for this event are $31 for people 4 years and older and children under 4 are FREE. Companion card holders are also admitted free and a group of 4 people of any age can be purchased at $111. Please be advised that the program includes the use of water-based haze throughout the exhibition.
