Young people aged 15 to 25 years old are invited to come to this FREE workshop,Lifeskills for Young People - Prepare to Leave Home Workshop. In this 3-hour and 45 minutes session, you will learn the essential skills and knowledge you need to successfully transition into independent living.

Located at Unley Town Hall, Oxford Terrace, Unley, this masterclass will be held on Tuesday, 3 October 2023, starting at 9.15 am to 1 pm, and will prepare students to move out of home and thrive independently and covers these three themes:
• Financial Fitness
• Emotional Readiness
• Physical Preparation

Together, you will delve into money management, the real costs of moving and setting up a house, renting, sharing houses and student accommodation, buying your first home and knowing your rights.

This workshop will be facilitated by the Teresa Janowski from STEM Fast Track. You will need to bring a water bottle and a laptop or notebook. Some snacks will be provided. Please note that spots at this workshop are limited. If all spots are allocated, priority will be given to young people who live and or study in the City of Unley. Book here .
