Featuring thousands of quality pre-loved books

Calling all book lovers - Lifeline's famous $2 Book Clearance Sale is on again, just in time to stock up on great winter reading. For the price of just one small gold coin, you can buy a book, DVD or a couple of CDs, all while helping Lifeline to make a real difference to people's lives.

Organised and run by a team of dedicated volunteers, this fundraiser for Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury (H2H) will this year be held at the Hornsby War Memorial Hall. Situated next to the Hornsby RSL, the location is close to public transport including Hornsby Train Station.

While Lifeline H2H's first GIANT Book Sale of the year was a roaring success, there is still plenty of quality stock available at unbeatable prices. Lifeline expects to draw huge numbers of book lovers and bargain hunters from far and wide, with more than 35,000 good-quality books in a wide variety of categories, including non-fiction; hardcover and pristine paperback; children's and young adult titles; collectibles and boxsets. As always, special interest categories will also be available, including books on cookery, craft, history, politics and architecture, along with DVDs, CDs, graphic novels and computer games.

All stock must go and everything at a bargain price of $2 or less.

So don't miss this HUGE clearance sale at this wonderful venue. All funds raised over the weekend will go towards Lifeline H2H's suite of services, including the 24/7 telephone crisis hotline 13 11 14, community aid services, and group counselling for people struggling with gambling, hoarding, financial issues, suicide bereavement and much more.

Who doesn't love a book clearance sale. They pop up regularly in empty shops and factories, usually selling remainders from publishers. This sale sounds a must for everyone that can read, even for those just learning to read. Books are the ultimate product for recycling. Read them then donate them to an op shop.
