There will be thousands of books on offer here
Book fairs are a great way for a charity to raise money and a super event for the public, as you can buy good quality books and there are many thousands of books to choose from.



It will be held over three days from Friday 23rd to 25th February, 2018 at the Ted Blackwood Hall, corner Jacksons and Boondah Roads, Warriewood.

It will be open on the Friday from 1.00 pm till 8.00 pm; Saturday from 9.00 am till 5.00 pm; and Sunday from 9.00 am till 2.00 pm, and they will accept Visa, Mastercard and they have EFTPOS facilities available. Although there is no entrance fee for this giant book sale, a gold coin donation would be greatly appreciated.

There will be thousands of good quality books at bargain prices in many categories/genres, including a wide range of children's books suited to all ages.



There will be books for collectors, as well as a large number of books which have won awards and also old collectable books.

A special for this year's book sale is that there will be a "Beatles Shrine" at this Book Fair. All types of Beatles related material will be available for sale!



As well as all the books, there will also be a large selection of puzzles, jigsaws, games, CD, DVDs, vinyl records, and more - so at this sale, there will definitely be something for everyone!



All monies raised support the activities of Lifeline Northern Beaches.

About Lifeline
Lifeline offer a 13 11 14 crisis line which focuses largely on suicide prevention. They also provide many other services to the community including 24 hour counselling, bereavement support, anger management, and problem gambling, to name but a few.

Lifeline Northern Beaches is part of the national Lifeline network, who are the leading provider of suicide prevention services in Australia. This is an organisation that has been serving the Northern Beaches area for over 40 years now and in this time, they have helped many thousands of people in their struggles with everyday life.

They are an independent organisation with a local board, who are run by a small number of salaried staff and also supported by around 600 volunteers. They are a "Public Benevolent Institution registered with the Australian Charities and not-for-profits Commission".

They provide not only an excellent telephone service but also an in-person support service to relieve distress and suffering caused by crisis situations. This is a 24 hour, 7 day per week assistance to those people who are in need.

Some of the areas they provide help in are crisis support, personal counselling, support groups or other services to those experiencing issues such as:

Anger
Anxiety
Depression
Family and relationship problems
Financial problems
Life decisions
Loneliness
Suicidal thoughts
and many more

By shopping at this giant book fair, you can rest assured that what you spend will go a long way towards helping this charity continue providing these necessary services to the community.



This is the first Book Fair for 2018 so, so come along with your bags, pick up a bargain, and support this very worthy cause. Remember there are many genres and styles of good quality books to choose from.
