Browsing For Bargain Books
I love a good book, don't you? At university I spent years reading books and journals for assignments and essays. Before I had kids I collected quite a good home library of metaphysical books. Now with a family of three kids, reading books seems to be a bit of a luxury for me.
So much of our time is spent reading online, that sometimes we forget the importance of reading for enjoyment. Whether you enjoy reading mystery, fantasy, humour, crime, romance, fact or fiction - you will literally have your pick of thousands of titles at the Lifeline Bookfest at Lake Kawana Community Centre.

In fact there will be over 10,000 books for sale. The event boasts not only books, but also a range of CDs, vinyl, games and puzzles. This important event raises essential funds to support Lifeline services in Queensland including the 13 11 14 Crisis Support Line. When you donate and buy with Lifeline, you help save lives.
This is the last week of school holidays, so if you are in town, make sure you stop over and browse the tables at Lake Kawana Community Centre from 8.30am to 4pm each day (Thursday 7th April - 10th April 2016). Some are only priced at $2 so grab some bargains for you and the kids and make the most of it whilst helping a deserving charity. Don't forget to bring your own sturdy bags to carry all your goodies back to the car!
