10,000 bargain books enough?
Firstly it's huge with over 10,000 books for sale, yes 10,000!!

It's a bookworm dream come true with a vast arrange of titles and genres to keep you browsing for hours. Like one of their op shops, you never know what will be there but genres will include:

Humour plus many, many more

They'll also be at bargain prices, which means you'll leave happy and the event organisers will be happy too, as you're helping to raise funds for some amazing programs.

"Funds raised at the Bookfest support Lifeline and UnitingCare Community programs for individuals, families and children. In Queensland, UnitingCare Community runs Lifeline services such as the 13 11 14 Crisis Support Service and post-disaster Community Recovery Program as well as Lifeline Shops and events in Queensland."

Is it just books? No, you can also expect to find
Games and puzzles

Would you like to help? They are looking for volunteers. Volunteers have a great time and meet lots of friendly faces, all in support of Lifeline. To volunteer, please call (07) 5409 1400.

If you have any questions about the event, please contact them on (07) 5409 1400.

Lake Kawana Community Centre has about 50 parking spots, if you're coming by bus, the 600 or the 602 has a drop about 300m from the venue.

Pack some sturdy bags - I think they'll be leaving full.
