Monty Python's timeless comedy, Life of Brian, has just turned 40 and Wallis Cinemas is marking the occasion with a special 40th-anniversary screening.

This movie will only be screening for one weekend at the Mitcham and Piccadilly cinemas on 19 and 20 April at 7pm.

For those who have never seen John Cleese and the Monty Python crew in action in this film, the story follows the life and times of Brian of Nazareth, who was born in the stable next door to Jesus and mistaken for a messiah. What follows is a rollercoaster journey through treacherous Roman times that will have you in stitches.

So, whether you're a Monty Python die-hard or just interested in what all the hype was about, what better excuse to don your Roman toga and join the hapless Brian as he attempts to outrun his unwanted reputation.
