Personal Diaries From World War 1
The State Library of NSW offers visitors the opportunity to experience World War I through the first hand accounts of people who lived through the period. These personal accounts of soldiers, teachers, doctors, nurses, farmers, clerks, architects and journalists are captured in some 1,100 WWI diaries which the Library has been digitising and transcribing.

Visitors can read tales of bravery, adventure and heartaches through these hand-written diaries and letters. Don't miss this chance to remember those who served, in their own words.
