You're invited to attend the upcoming public talk 'Life in the Solar System' at Bright Learning on Wednesday 14 October 2015 from 6pm.

Join passionate astronomer and astrobiologist Dr. Jonti Horner from the University of Southern Queensland as he discusses what life in space holds for the future of the human race.

With the recent discovery of flowing water on Mars and NASAs major announcements, this is an exceptionally timely event.

Dr. Jonti Horner is currently working in the Computational Engineering and Science Research Centre. His main interests include the search for planets orbiting other stars, the formation and evolution of the Solar system and the nature of habitability what factors come together to make a given planet (like the Earth) more or less suitable for the development and survival of life.

In this public talk, Dr. Jonti Horner will explore in detail what it would be like to live on another planet.

From meteorologists and scientists to spaceflight organisations like Virgin Galactic and SpaceX pushing human ingenuity by exploring life outside the exterior of this world, we are getting closer to answering questions that are up in the air. But how close are we to being rocketed to another world?

All are welcome to attend this special event. Tickets are now on sale through Eventbrite and priced $49 per person. Members can attend for FREE: for information on membership, please click here.
