For those who have realised, 'Life a Meditation One day workshop' provides pointers/ directions to bring about an awareness of this constant mind chatter and how you can bring an end to this unwanted incessant thought activity which is causing a lot of grief, stress, anxiety and fear in your life.
Santosh Nambiar, the well-known author of 'A New Way of Living' (published by Balboa Press USA, Hay House) 'Life A Meditation' (published by LM publications Australia), and 'Taking your life from Mediocrity to Creativity' is presenting an interactive one-day workshop entitled 'Life a Meditation: Mindfulness Made Simple' on Saturday18th November 2017 at Hawthorn Community Precinct.
Santosh has a background in Molecular Biology and a MBA from RMIT. In recent years, Santosh has been presenting insightful workshops and seminars worldwide focusing on a range of topics. Santosh is also a Registered Meditation Teacher with the Meditation Association of Australia.
In this engaging and informative workshop, running from 10 am to 3pm, Santosh will also detail the following topics, as well as a simple but powerful meditation practice that can recondition the brain and bring peace, clarity, order and creativity in the demanding and chaotic world we live today. Santosh will share helpful pointers which he has made use of in his own life situations, as noted in his book Life a Meditation, which explores how we can make our 'life'' a meditation, moment to moment, rather than our meditation being a 30 minute or one hour daily affair!
Learn how to be a 'space of peace' wherever you are - at a busy workplace, a board meeting, at home cooking dinner, rushing to pick up your children, arriving late to the office, or even when you are taking a stroll in a park. You can be this moving 'space of peace' wherever you go!
Over the 5 hours, Santosh will take you along on a journey and together you will discover how you can use this meditation practice in all facets of your daily life.
This workshop is suitable for people of all walks of life. From those who are interested in diving deep within and doing a self-enquiry, to people who are able to leave aside their preconceived ideas and willing to explore their true self.
Pre-conceived ideas can interfere with the enquiry and prevent further knowing. However, when your mind chatter comes to an end and is silent, this profound knowing will emerge in you.
Places are strictly limited to 20 persons per session.
Duration of the workshop: 5 hours. In the first part of the session 10 AM -12 Noon the session will discuss the theory, followed by a lunch break for 30 min and then between 12.30 PM – 3 PM we will discuss how we can put this to practice in our daily life situation straight away.
Lunch: provided. Assorted sandwiches, fruits, coffee and tea. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirement like gluten-free.
Car parking: Limited parking at the Library premises. However please come early to secure parking.
What to bring: Nothing.
