The iconic purple Queenslander's art deco interior provides a suitably cool space for Ingrid James to transport the crowd a world away, with effortless interpretations of jazz standards, Brazilian Samba, and a little bit of Joni Mitchell. Ingrid James has released 6 albums which have received International acclaim, her latest being the rather funky, Lost My Heart.

She has received prestigious awards and performed at many Australian Jazz Festivals, as well as renowned European and US venues: The Blue Note - Monte Carlo, The Jazz Bakery - Los Angeles, Soho and 606 Clubs - London. So, Lido Cafe and Restaurant are more than pleased to have such a talent on their program.
Lido Cafe and Restaurant has more than just great jazz, their food hits all the right notes too. There are seafood pastas, homemade lasagne, salads, cakes and tempting share plates, but the Gourmet Wood Fired Pizzas stand out. These are made to order and I reckon the "What a Catch" Wood Fired Pizza is the perfect accompaniment to some smooth jazz.
All jazz aficionados and musical romantics must have dinner at the Lido Cafe and Restaurant when James and Jones Duo are performing. It's a unique night out, guaranteed to get your toes tapping and leave you humming for the next few days. For a lasting momento, purchase Ingrid's CD, Lost My Heart - you won't be disappointed.
