Where's the best place to see your movies this summer? At Melbourne's latest rooftop cinema, conveniently located in the heart of Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn! The new, ultra modern Lido Cinemas opens its rooftop cinema on Thursday 12th November 2015.



Not only will you get great rooftop views, you can enjoy the latest release movies at Lido on the Roof. The quality offering from the launch date includes the upcoming James Bond film, Spectre.

Also screening will be Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Trumbo (starring Helen Mirren) and Carol (starring Cate Blanchett).

Enjoy a choice of seating styles - beanbags or deckchairs - for relaxed viewing. What makes this venue even more appealing is that there is also a rooftop bar offering a delicious range of locally sourced food, wines, beers, cocktails and soft drinks. Appropriately, you can even enjoy a Martini while watching Spectre!



Lido Cinemas owner Eddie Tamir explains his decision to open the rooftop cinema: "Melburnians have always had a love of rooftops, there's something about a fabulous view while enjoying quality food and drink, which make it a great place to spend summer days and nights. We have such a stunning view here that it was a natural decision to launch a rooftop screen".

Lido on the Roof promises a fun yet sophisticated atmosphere to soak up the sunset, while watching all the newest movies on a state of the art Dolby screen.

Lido on the Roof will be open this season until April 2016.
